Silverback VSOG
We’ve been ageing our Silverback Old Tom Gin in Oloroso Sherry casks to create a limited release VSOG. Ageing in the cask has added delicious silky spice, a hint of vanilla, dried fruit and a sweet smokiness to the gin.
VSOG is a perfect after dinner digestif – sip neat or over ice to savour it’s flavour.
Less than 1,000 50cl bottles have been made, each hand numbered. If you missed out on the chance to pre-order, don’t worry, you can still get your hands on a limited release bottle before they’re all gone!

Our first cask-aged expression
Every step of the process leading up to the release of Silverback VSOG has been a labour of love, from selecting the individual Sherry Cask to precisely judging the amount of ageing required.
Ageing isn’t just for whisky
The concept of ageing gin in casks isn’t really new – it dates back to the 18th and 19th Centuries when spirits were transported in barrels – but it’s unfamiliar to many people. We would argue that a good cask-aged gin is even more interesting than whisky.

Silverback VSOG is sold in individually numbered 50cl bottles which are beautifully adorned with highly figured metal labels.
